Jeremy Rice (b. 1982) is a British contemporary fine art photographer based in Ibiza.

My work lives in the space between the abstract and the intimate—between what is seen and what is felt. I photograph the human body, especially the female form, with a fascination for its infinite variety, its sensual mystery, and its unapologetic beauty. Through close-up fragments—legs, arms, hips, and shadowed curves—I explore how the familiar becomes surreal, how skin becomes landscape, and how form becomes emotion. There is something honest in nudity. Stripped of context and costume, the body becomes a raw expression of presence, of individuality. I’m not interested in perfection, but in difference—in the way every woman’s body holds its own story, its own rhythm. My photographs are sensual and abstract, often bordering on the dreamlike. They invite a slower gaze, one that lingers, contemplates, and feels.Alongside abstraction, I also make raw, unguarded portraits—stark yet intimate encounters that reveal something of the person beneath the surface. These portraits aren’t about performance; they’re about presence, vulnerability, and truth.True to my Taurean nature, I’m magnetized by beauty in all its forms. I seek out the quiet poetry of texture, light, and shadow—balancing softness with strength, clarity with ambiguity. While much of my work centers around the human form, I also create abstract landscapes—meditations on shape, stillness, and space. Nature, like the human form, offers a way to glimpse something greater—something more lasting and essential.I don’t try to explain everything I photograph. I try to feel it—and invite you to feel it, too.
