Jeremy Rice (b. 1982) is a British contemporary fine art photographer based in Ibiza.
His practice focuses on the human form and abstract landscapes, working at the intersection of the intimate and the abstract. Through his images, Rice investigates the shifting line between observation and emotion, between what is visible and what is experienced.
The female form is a central thread in his work—celebrated for its infinite variety, mystery, and strength. Through close detail and abstraction, he reveals its raw beauty and transforms familiar gestures into landscapes of light, texture, and emotion.
Living on the island of Ibiza, he is equally drawn to the landscape—its presence silent, immovable, and stoic in nature. Shadows stretch, hues shift, and seasons change, yet its essence remains unchanged. In this defiance he finds a meditative power, a reminder that stillness carries its own strength.
Like many, Rice first came to Ibiza seeking the light, culture, and community. But it is the landscape, encountered daily, that instills a profound sense of belonging. It speaks of permanence and resilience, reminding us that while change is constant on the surface, our deeper capacity to adapt comes from a quieter, more enduring place—silent, peaceful, and unwavering.
